New Cost-Saving Actuator Options for Parker Skinner 7000 Series Valves
Quakertown, PA, November 26, 2020 – The PneuMagnetic Actuator, a revolutionary solenoid valve actuator which can reduce valve installation costs by up to 50%, is now available for use with select Parker Skinner 7000 series valves.
PneuMagnetic converts direct acting solenoid valves pneumatic operation. This is easily accomplished by quickly replacing the Parker Skinner actuator coil with the patented PneuMagnetic Actuator. This solution is remarkably cost-effective when applied in EX (explosion proof) and IS (intrinsically safe) installations, since the electric hazard can be entirely removed from the hazardous area and replaced with an air line.
The Parker Skinner 7000 series is available both 2-way N.C. direct and pilot operated, and is offered in brass and stainless steel models. These popular valves are part of Parker's 24/7 quick ship program.
"This expansion of PneuMagnetic offerings for Parker Skinner valves demonstrates our commitment to building our product offering to cover an ever-growing universe of valves," said to Robert Altonji, President of PneuMagnetic LLC. "By converting Parker Skinner 7000 series valves to pneumatic operation, the PneuMagnetic Actuator achieves dramatic installation cost reductions in EX and IS applications. We eliminate the need for the wiring and conduit installations which can typically amount to several times the cost of the valve."
Altonji continued to explain that valves converted to PneuMagnetic Actuators require only an inexpensive air pilot using a flexible, small diameter pneumatic line.
A complete list of Parker Skinner valves which can use the PneuMagnetic Actuator is available at: http://www.pneumagnetic.com/parker-solenoid-valve-coils.html. All actuators are available for purchase via the website. PneuMagnetic is happy to discuss special valve applications with interested parties.
